I just walked in the house from the Day of Action here in San Diego. COFFEE, I NEED COFFEE.

The short and sweet... police presence was nuts... but they did not bring the LDAR... well Sheriffs, the proud owners of that... were not invited to the party, so they did not bring in their party flavors.

(Weird sense of humor, I know)

Give me a little and I need to write story, file and get photos and all that. Oh and I now have realized... CAN'T wait till payday to get not just a second battery. a THIRD battery.

8. LOL, Occupy Dallas (evicted today) Occupiers did a press conf

this afternoon for the local media and the first thing one of the camera people asked them "can you guys NOT do the people's mic, please". Apparently, he felt it would mess up their soundbites. The Occupiers talked amongst themselves, initially were going to vote on it, but then said "um, we WILL be using the People's mic...your viewers will FIGURE IT OUT".

I saw the teeny clip on the news with the main person reading the written statement and behind him were all the other occupiers doing..the People's Mic. It was cool to watch. Stupid local media..they have been misleading everyone for months and then have the nerve to ask the Occupiers to go by media rules????

The above account was in the Dallas paper, couldn't help but get a good laugh out of it. The ONLY laugh I have had today since I turned on my car radio at 6 am this morning and first heard the camp had been raided in the middle of the night!

I wish I had PTO left so I could take off work and to go an actions at an event and do a MIC check.. I have a loud voice so I know i would be good and I look like a republican so that would get me in.

me too! Doing it around the house now. Been calling the dog with "Mic Check" Hubby and I used to use "Hooty hoot" (from Gomer Pyle on Mayberry) if we got seperated in public. Now, it's "MIC CHECK"
