Of course local media did not use that as a teachable moment. OWS is for all, and we should be concerned at a spiritual level for all humans... So they pulled a FOX technique... you decide...

By the way... I counted about 500 people, they counted 150 (I got practice in estimating crowds from EMS)

I thought that was the point. I'd rather them not wax philosophic about caring on a 'spiritual level.

And BTW, the person who made that comment is now saying he misspoke and that the shooter is actually a more like a terrorist.

Their coverage of the bridge also IMPLIED that they were shocked that things were ahem... peaceful...

3. The guy is an idiot who misspoke, so he said. He later came out with an amended statement.

You are going to see a lot of nitwits piping up and their comments given more weight than deserved because this movement, at least for now, has no leaders.

His verbal diarrhea is a bit of a cautionary tale. Not everyone needs to be articulate, but it is important to be clear as to one's meaning.
