Irony? UC Davis allows people to camp on the Quad....

I am a sometimes vendor at an event at UC Davis, The Whole Earth Fair. And you can stay in the Quad overnight during the event (vendors and staff only) if YOU TAKE A NON VIOLENCE CLASS in peaceful Resolution.

3. I've said for a long time now

That these generalized protests don't scare anyone.

Protests need to be directed at the individuals that are most onerous, like Rush, FOX, Right-wing Senators, Right-wing SC justices, corporations that are the most onerous, the Koch brothers, Liebermann.

Until individuals are feeling the heat, with attacks, and protests, nothing is going to continue being done. Only when they feel the real possibility of personal "problems" separating them from their money, will the rich start trying to improve the situations.

Plus with modern technology, I think people could be more creative in a "roving" protest. No need to say "Hey police, we're going to be right here! Show up at various places. Take a day off, maybe two, then show up somewhere else. This is like a boxer only jabbing at the nose, never trying for the gut, or a hook, or some other method. After a while, it's easy to dispense with. This would cause much greater inconvenience, for the city, as well as the individuals involved, the corporations.

Anyone know where Bloomberg's house is? The Koch brothers houses? Mitch McChinless's house? Rush's house? Plenty of targets.

The threat is always worse than the execution. Keep the threat there, ever-present, nagging, harassing.

It's called "Occupy Bloomberg's Mansion Drum Circle Protest And Love-In Art Show," and it will take place this Sunday at 2:00 PM, in front of Mayor Bloomberg's massive mansion on 17 East 79th Street, and should stretch to Central Park.

The party is slated to last for 24 hours.

We got a call about the event from John Penley, the organizer, who also headed last week's Occupy Wall Street concert.

He's planned protests in front of the Mayor's home before — last time, he landed on Page Six for his Pot Protest, after inviting Bloomberg himself to enjoy a puff.
