I don't see anything in LBN about the killing of 6 CIA assets in Lebanon/Iran

Tonight on the 6:00 news George Stephanopolous reported the story, that our middle eastern intel has been severely compromised and we are essentially "blind" due to the assassination or elimination of half a dozen agents or assets.

I don't seen any news reports about that here on DU. I'd appreciate a link if anyone has one.

But the information did not seem very clear at that time. It just seems unbelievable to me, but I suppose it is true.

On edit, as I recall, it may have had something to do with Hezbollah.

8. Latest I could find...

Hezbollah's longtime leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, boasted in June on television he had unmasked at least two CIA spies who had infiltrated the ranks of the organization...

And getting caught and killed has always been the primary occupational hazard no matter which side you work for.
