There's one thing that's keeping OWS from exploding and overthrowing the powers that be
and that's people who are barely holding onto a job, and this job is supporting by pennies a family or yourself covering many things such as food, shelter, medical care, etc. If another economic collapse occurs in the near future, OWS will be riding that wave, and it will happen, nothing has changed since 2008 in our economic system.

4. True -- indeed. But even without blessings of Founders we have a natural right to do so ---

our own right to self-determination.

Granted, we have to work together with other citizens -- but it is a natural

right -- not something given to us.

Still, good to have that reminder from Founders/Constitution!

5. The global financial system is in slow-motion free fall right now.
Its structure is hopelessly corrupted, so rotted from within, that the big banks are cannibalizing each other as there are no tools left to stop the accelerating pace of the collapse.

The OWS movement will be joined by newly unemployed traders on Wall Street and millions of retirees who've lost their pension funds soon enough.

except pretty much everyone under 40 (Maybe higher than that) realize SS and Medicare aren't going to be around for us.

16. No not young people, older people who need the system to stay as is.
If our government collapsed, there is no money for anyone who is supported by the government. Its the government beneficiaries who can't afford to let things fail.

I think it's silly to imagine a government can be taken over and things instantly become equally good. What happens is it's all equally bad.

15. Actually even then a small amount of the population owned the wealth...
probably more so. Most transactions were based on credit, very little money circulated.

The Freepers have cause-and-effect reversed.

Government taxes increase because jobs disappear, not vice versa.

As capitalists improve efficiency, jobs disappear and governments increase taxes to redistribute income so that the overall economy maintains a balance of production/consumption.
