First of all, I wish Rep Giffords all the best! My heart goes out to her, her husband and family and friends. I'm astounded by the fact that a human being could survive the trauma that Rep Giffords suffered. Shot through the head! Point blank! WTF? People don't even survive that kind of thing in movies, generally. Just goes to show some things can only happen in real life.
Lucky for her she has Federal Employees Health Benefits. 50 million people that live in the same country as Rep Giffords don't.
The GOP-heavy House of Reps need to think about this as they go along their merry way in their zeal to repeal.
