The right-wing hate industry needs to be attacked as savagely as the videogame industry was

in the wake of incidents like Paducah and Columbine.

We need someone to act as an attack dog and a dedicated activist against the violent rhetoric from the right - sort of like Jack Thompson except sane. We need the families of the Tucson and Knoxville shootings to file multibillion dollar class-action lawsuits against the right-wing mouthpieces that inspired the killers of their loved ones. Jim Adkisson, for example, admitted outright that people like Hannity and Rush influenced him, as opposed to the Columbine gunmen who specifically denied being inspired by the entertainment industry. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that 24/7 hate speech that dehumanizes, demonizes, and ahem, "jokes" about shooting political opponents is far more dangerous than fictional violent images that are created solely for entertainment purposes and with no malicious intent.
