Reverend Al is on fire about a NYT article that says 21 million school kids need subsidized lunches. 48.5 million people on food stamps too.

ETA: The article is easy to find on the NYT website, but I can't link it from my blackberry because there is no way to switch from the mobile site to the full site. But check it out.

9% approval rating, etc., etc, but they vote these critters into congress, then sit around and bitch. That has always irked me too. So we get a continuation of trickle down voodoo economics. And all that trickles down is misery, and frankly, most of us are getting pissed on. Why people vote some into office is beyond me. Some days I think the US is comprised of a bunch of psychopaths and masochists.

publically subsidized corporations only share their debt and nothing else with the country...
