When you hear the term "righteous anger" . . . . .

. . . . what comes up first for you, the "anger" part or the "righteous" part?

I am asking in relation to KO's mugging. Some people think he was too "angry" all the time.

Liberal anger is unjustified. How many righties have said KO is crazy?

There are different kinds of anger.

There's the hot anger that explodes.
There's the white hot anger that explodes everything around it.

And then there's the ice cold anger that gets things done.

personally, I approved of KO's passion and dedication. he was mild compared to what I unload on my local govt critters.

7. I never saw him as that angry. When he was angry, there was

a reason. Passionate, yes ---angry no.

8. I don't separate them when they are together

I understand anger, and righteous anger, and they certainly aren't always the same thing.

I've been reading a lot of books on human rights lately, and one of the things that strikes me is that often, people as a whole aren't as angry about injustice as they should be. Injustice is ignored or excused far more often than it is condemned, for whatever reason. I don't always agree with people who think of themselves as righteously angry, but I do believe there is an important place for righteous anger in the world.
