1. If we took the time to ORGANIZE and demanded that:

1). The Fairness Doctrine be reinstated

2). That Citizens United be overturned (start by removing the compromised Thomas and Scalia from the SCOTUS).

3). Demand real campaign finance reform.

4). Break up the media monopolies.

Now I don't expect any real responses to this post. Calls for action usually get...well, little more than a "+1" at best or a list of why doing any of those things won't help at worst (the DLCers always have those talking points handy). Whatever happened to the DU activist corps? When was our last organized action where we all were sent an email with instructions that would lead to each of us DOING something instead on just typing our complaints to one another? We CAN make a difference, but it means motivating yourself to move, not waiting for someone else to step forward and make the effort on your behalf.

5. Appromiately 3 million of us were in the streets before

Operation I'm A War President started. How'd that work out? We called, wrote, e-mailed concerning Citizens United, Comcast vs. America, Bush/Cheney War Crimes, top-heavy tax cuts, and health insurance giveaways. Notice a pattern?

Please tell me how you're going to wrestle control of the country from Beck and Limpballs. Be specific.

like King, did "march in the streets," but they both accomplished theie victories by going to jail. And many, many of their followers went to jail with them.

9. One idea (borrowed from the French); a sort of highway "sit in"

The French people shut down their government when the government refused to listen by filling all highways and roads going into Paris with very slow moving vehicles-including farm equipment- early every day of the week until the government buckled. It was a simple, nonviolent, legal action, and it got the desired result. We could do the same to DC, or on a smaller scale; media headquarters.

A 14 year old with a PC and a little time on his hands could assure a landslide victory for anyone.
