There's still about 75 of the funniest oiginal pictures left to upload to the Tumblr, though, and it takes submissions -- though the original thread is still the best place to post them.

According to the poll, folks encouraged us to re-blog it on Tumblr but now that it's been created I'm not sure DUers know or care enough to use it :evilfrown:

Background info: Tucker Carlson hired an Irish journalist to heckle Obama's White House speech on immigration policy. The gentleman, Neil Munro, proceeded to (drunkenly?) interrupt Obama with shouts of "more immigrants taking American jobs!" and "why can't I ask questions?" to which Obama responded politely "not while I'm speaking."

Then ago, Stewart is only mouthing what some writer wrote.

Maybe the writer of that speech was born in the U.S. and we could nominate him or her.

Assuming his or her spouse knows where to find a good cookie recipe, of course.

As mentioned I'm working on a ponified version of Neil Munro, although the response to the ACA ruling has sapped my will to hang out on DU3.

(I know the pre-existing conditions provision in the bill will help DainBramaged and Matt Baggins, and several other directly affected DUers, but there was no chance the pre-existing conditions provision would be striked down. As it is, they struck down the provision requiring states to expand Medicare to people who cannot afford the fine, which they declared Constitutional. Individual rights once again lose out to institutional rights.)
