currently, nearly 300 of the 1200 people who have responded to this post from earlier this afternoon, have supported Ann - amazing! Her husband and her only want to be the top political power couple in the world, no reason to shine a light in their dealings...

Do you believe the Romneys have "given all that people need to know" about their finances?

Yes (279)
23%

No (907)
75%

Not sure (30)
2%

the only thing she has going for her, is that she's not as terrifying as Calista...

2. thanks! can't believe that there's 23% that just say 'what's wrong with them being rich",
instead of saying, "it's okay they're rich, but I want to see how they made it so I know he's not a crook who made it in a shady manner, because he wants to be president". It's so typical of GOP voters to blindly support whatever their establishment leaders throw up for them to vote on, like lemmings!

6. kicking so people will take poll
I think she meant we had seen all we need to see to know "how we live,' meaning to grasp that they are rich. However, we all knew that before--and it is mighty feual lord of her to even think she can decide what we people need to see about the man who seeks to rule us and spend our tax dollars.

7. the nerve of mrs rmoney.... how dare we ask to know what deals he's been a part of

and don't you just love her simpleton answer of, "well, trust us, we give 10% to charity (Mormon church), so take my word, my husband has nothing to hide, but if we release this stuff you'll see we have lots of business dealings you'll all complain about". HA! which brings me to this --- a new bumper!

8. "If we release more info, the Democrats will only pick it apart.'
Edited on Sun Jul-22-12 04:02 AM by No Elephants
Duh. It's called a political campaign.

But, you release information, regardless of what the other side might do with it, because voters have a right to know and someone running for President has no right to secrecy. George Romney knew that.

If you refuse to let them know, you have no business expecting votes. You will get some anyway, but shame on the people who vote for a candidate who is secretive.

BTW, Romney has had his eye on the Presidency since at least the early 1990s and has been actively running for the Presidency since his election as Governor in 2002. His tax returns for the last 30 years should be impeccable.
