Supposedly, Democrats all around the nation are now trying to distance themselves from Ryan's third rail budget.
Problem is, some Democrats in the U.S. House voted for it twice and some voted for it before they voted against it.
They will lose in November and need to be primaried. It is a little late for anyone who to first start running against them, though, so their DINO-ism just may cost Democrats still more seats in the House.
That must leave a bitter taste in the mouth of those who have been insisting that the only way for Democrats to get elected is to be more like Republicans. And, I can't say that I am sorry for them.
I love the Mitt Ryan ticket (as Ed Shultz mistakenly referred to it) because it seems to be forcing Democrats to the left, which is exactly where I have been wanting them to return to.
Far be it from me to gloat, though.
Well, maybe not all that far.
