Not sure whether to believe that, especially because John King is the author and he is, IMO, a disgusting excuse for a journalist, even a so called commentator.

Then again, I guess anything "could" be possible.

Or, King could be focusing on Iowa because, unlike in 2008, more voters in Iowa are now registered Republican than Democrat and Obama's recent trip there was not as successful as his 2008 trip, or so those reporting on it would have us believe. He is polling ahead of Romney there, though, but maybe within margin or error.

1. The problem with their idiotic prattle is
We heard what a game-changer Palin was when she got the nomination. Generally Presidential candidates get a bump when they pick someone the electorate doesn't despise: Lloyd Bensten, Jack Kemp, Al Gore, John Edwards, Sarah Palin, Joe Lieberman.
But, in the end that wears off because people are not voting for a vice-president.
As to Iowa I'd point to a couple of things:
1. They've said that about Iowa and a few other states (PA) and it usually doesn't pan out
2. According to most polls, right now Romney is slightly ahead in Iowa and he is still behind in the delegate count.

September and October will be where it begins to count
