I just sent this email, which speaks for itself.
How in heaven's name do you do a segment, in late August of a Presidential election year, about Akin's rape statements without ever mentioning that 227 House Republicans co-sponsored Akin's bill denying federal funding for "non-forcible rape," including Congressman Ryan, running mate of current Presidential hopeful Romney?
Of course, I know literally how you do that. I just do not know how you do that AND expect to retain any legitimacy whatever in political news reporting.
(Yes, I am female.)
They had Savannah Guthrie do the segment. She spoke longest with Michael Steele, former head of the Republican Party. Guess what? He did not raise the subject, either.
Whether you are male or female, a poster or a lurker, please, please, please do not let this go.
