Ruth's List Florida, a pro-choice group that seeks to elect Democratic women to office, says it has paid for this billboard to greet attendees of the Republican National Convention in Tampa. The billboard is at the intersection of I-275 and Armenia. Officially, city elections are nonpartisan, but Mayor Bob Buckhorn and council members are registered Democrats.

5. Or, satan has targeted Republicans.

When gays, women, minorities, etc. suffer, it's at the hands of God. When affluent Christians (or those professing to be Christians for political reasons) suffer, it's because Satan has targeted them to stop them from doing God's will.

(i am always astounded at how much mortal help they think an omnipotent God needs to get His will done.)

3. If Republicans did that vis a vis a Democratic convention, we'd be pissed.

I think they could have used the money a better way.
