RNC pushes back convention's start due to the hurricane threat
Edited on Sat Aug-25-12 09:14 PM by Divine Discontent
where's wannabe prophet, Pat Robertson, of the Zero Club? Shouldn't he be telling us why he thinks God is 'punishing' Tampa with a hurricane threat and heavy rains, that's caused them to push back their Obama-hate-fest to at least Tuesday?

1. Explanations are easy for those who have the hubris to pretend to know what
supernatural beings are thinking.

God is not interfering with the Republican convention. Satan is. Satan is trying to prevent Republicans from doing God's work.

If you have any other questions, please direct them to the 700 Club. I am sure Robertson can pull a convenient response to any question out of his ear. He even once told a teen that it was okay for her to go out with an older man, He cited the 12th century romance of Heloise and Abelard because, you know, that ended so well for Heloise, what with her becoming prioress of the nunnery she got shut up in. Plus, what's eight or nine centuries of progress and learning between friends?

I might have at least asked the underaged girl if she had discussed this with any adult family member or her own pastor before I went straight to a 12th century tragedy. I guess that only proves that I don't have the anointing with which God blessed Brother Robertson.

But, I digress. My point is that I am sure Pat will have an easy answer for any question you put him.

It may be a totally bizarre answer, but, according to Pat, it will be a word of knowledge, straight from the mind of God to your ears, via Pat's mouth.

Consider yourself duly blessed.

2. P.S. OT: As to your tag, DD, which I love, polls show that
about 25 of Americans believe that they are in the top 1%.

Which means, among other things, that some of our wealthiest folk don't know diddly.
