4. I'm having keyboard issues.
Using an external one right now, as opposed to my laptop's. But sometimes this one goes nuts, too.

5. Still here...
We've been busy house-hunting. Trying to find something smaller with no stairs.

The hard part will be telling our neighbors of almost 25 years that it's time to move on. :(

talking to themselves and there are easier ways to do that.

18. Yay!!! Found our house.
Smaller, one level. This one has a 30x60 pole barn, so I won't have to get rid of all my old stuff from the 60's. :applause:

Hell, I'm still toting around newspapers from JFK's assasination, along with a beer can hat, a leather mini-skirt the hubby brought me back from Greece, (I can still wear it! On one thigh, that is.) And a few other things that I won't mention.

Anyway, I am busy packing up non-essentials. Hope to complete the move by the end of November.

:pals: to all.

20. A pole barn is a huge metal shed...
just more stable. This will work out great for us. Going to section off a room for my kitties. We'll fix it so they can go in and out, but not get away. I've had them for so long that I can't leave them behind.

Thank you for the blessings. Definitely stressed out, but I'll get through. This will be a good move for us.

We stress from any change, even positive change.

Yet, I think sameness can be corrosive.

I always find myself returning to "moderation in all things," even though that is not my natural tendency.

I'm guessing that anyone who lives in a city like Boston would covet a pole barn.

I wonder if even the people in the ten million dollar townhouses feel that they have enough storage apace.

23. Well done.
You said this:

"Smaller, one level. This one has a 30x60 pole barn, so I won't have to get rid of all my old stuff from the 60's."

I got an image in my mind of a 1968 Plymouth GTX.

I told my wife we can never move because there are too many pounds of old magazines-mostly motorcycle magazines from the 1970s.

26. My first car (and love of my life) was actually a '65 Plymouth Satellite...
Looked just like this:

Looking back, one of my big regrets has to be letting this one go. I would love to be able to store this monster in my barn.

28. Nice. The back reminds me a little of a T Bird, circa 1957 or so.
I am not very knowledgeable about cars, so I could be way off.

30. One of my favorite body styles.
I get all nostalgic when I see a big wedge all dressed up with the cross ram intake. It's in the blood from my earliest days. I love the story of the horsepower wars of the 1950s and 1960s.

I was never a prolific poster, even in the old days. The new place hasn't been graced with my presence in so long, they're looking for their tombstone. :)

29. I think we are all getting error messages when we post.
That happened a few months ago too.

I think NYC_SKP and Leopold's Ghost figured out a solution between them.

But, Leo has not been around for a while and NYC's visits are getting more infrequent.

I think it's permanent this time.

The error message is only a false alarm, though. The post does appear. So, you just have to use your browser's back button, keep calm and carry on.

NYC and ellison are at DU3. NYC makes an occasional appearance here, but very rarely. I have not seen ellison in a very long time.

I was told that Koko posts at DU3, but I don't know. Unlike me, she never came back to DU2 after her goodbye post. I miss her.
