BEIJING September 15, 2012 (AP)

Angry protesters are staging anti-Japanese demonstrations in cities across China over Japan's control of disputed islands, with a protest in Beijing turning violent before being brought under control by police.

Thousands of protesters threw rocks and burned Japanese flags in front of the Japanese Embassy in Beijing on Saturday morning. Some tried to breach a metal police barricade but were pushed back by riot police.

Protests are occurring in at least a dozen Chinese cities, with only a few reports of clashes.

Are these other countries just losing their f*cking minds? And how long before the unrest comes here over some perceived slight (or election result)?

And, speaking of perceived slights, lol, are we slowing being squeezed out of the functionality of the DU2?

1. And, demonstrations all over the Middle East because of a
ridiculous film on You Tube no one even heard of before the demonstrations.

I very much doubt the people who got killed, allegedly because of the film, knew the film existed.

The actors in the film are saying someone badly dubbed over their voices.

Entire nations circling the drain.

And a wax figure running for President who claims to admire Snooki.

"I'll retire to Bedlam." Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol.

Chinese curse: May you live in interesting times.

2. preach it, sister....
seriously! the nations going batsh*t crazy over that ridiculous "movie" makes my head ache. They act like the US govt backs it as a work of American art that must be viewed by all children in school and Oscar worthy. Their actions are not acceptable, and just speak of the world's situation. Nothing screams "Mitt Romney, president-elect? are you out of your MIND?!" quite like today's headlines.

3. These aren't spontaneous protests.
I seriously doubt that the average Chinese citizen could give one fuck about the islands. It is the Chinese government that is behind the protests, obviously.

6. The North Koreans who "mourned" in the streets over Dear Leader's death
were such bad actors. They were obviously terrified of being accused of not being sad enough. I felt so sorry for them.
