Today, Mitt Romney Lost the Election
By Josh Barro Sep 17, 2012 6:02 PM ET

You can mark my prediction now: A secret recording from a closed-door Mitt Romney fundraiser, released today by David Corn at Mother Jones, has killed Mitt Romney's campaign for president.

On the tape, Romney explains that his electoral strategy involves writing off nearly half the country as unmoveable Obama voters. As Romney explains, 47 percent of Americans "believe that they are victims." He laments: "I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

So what's the upshot? "My job is not to worry about those people," he says. He also notes, describing President Obama's base, "These are people who pay no income tax. Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax."

This is an utter disaster for Romney.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mittens clearly believes only he and his rich cronies are allowed to be given the support and protections of gov't (in the form of millions and billions of dollars for them, of course), and to hell with the rest of us! We're the victims of their dirty financial games and misdeeds, and we're the cursed if that empty suit wins the election. I ain't letting up on people I meet who seem unsure about who they're voting on. They're few and far between, but when I meet them, I provide a couple of facts and say just think back to how scary a time it was in late 2008 when there was no certainty about the economy collapsing! We can't go back to the people that ran America into the ground!

1. Like George W Bush before him, Romney was
born on third base but imagined he had hit a triple. He is one that is delusional. He implies that 47% of Americans don't work or don't actually want to work.

2. Oh, I am quite sure he thinks he did better than a home run with 3 runs batted in.
He was not only born rich, but healthy and good looking. He married the woman of his choice and they had several born rich, healthy and good looking kids and are now working on the grandkid generation.

He went to the best school in the nation in his day and got a joint degree. Then he went on to make several hundred million bucks.

He was governor of Masschusetts and is now the nominee of his Party for the office of the most powerful person in the world (supposedly).

And he did it his way, from school bully, to plant closer and job offshorer to slipping sliding position changer.

Oh, and he "saved the Olympics" too.

Not bad for someone who tramples people's feelings and livelihoods and, according to Republicans, has run the least smart campaign in their living memory.

3. Let's count all the things for which Mitt takes personal responsiblity.
You go first, by naming one.

Anytime you're ready.

Anytime at all.

I'm all eyes.
