Tim Pawlenty Finally Grows A Set
After he dropped out of the race, Pawlenty stepped up for Mitt big time . Yet, when Romney decided on Ryan he didn't even have the grace to call Pawlenty himself about his decision and had one of his sons do it. Still Pawlenty kept on, until now, resigning as Eomney co-chair to become a lobbyist.

1. Now, if he would only grow a conscience and a personality.

The most fun thing about him was his nickname, T-Paw, but Colbert gave him that and Colbert is not the one who needs a personality transplant.

Candidly, I much prefer the term "grow a spine" (or a backbone) to "grow a set" (or a pair), though.

I would also question if T-Paw had stepped up for Mitt or in the hopes of getting his himself (Pawlenty) either the Vice Presidential nod or more public visibility than his lackluster self would otherwise have obtained.

Then again, for all we know, Willard got him his new job as a consolation prize. I doubt it because Mitt does not seem that concerned about anyone but himself. Even when asked about the dressage event at the Olympics that means so much to his wife, he made a face suggesting distaste and said, "That's Ann's thing. I don't get involved in that. I don't even know what date it takes place." Or words to that effect.

Given she says her involvement in that stuff helps her illness, one would have expected something more supportive, even from Wooden Willard.

But, hey, anything is possible, in theory, anyway.

2. I can only imagine the number of
poor underfed and mistreated rescue horses we could care for for what Mittens spends on that single dressage nag. But I resent wealth and I'm in favor of redistribution. O8)

4. I don't resent wealth, any more than I resent hammers or wheels.

All are ways do doing something easier and maybe more effectively.

That does not mean that I approve of everything people do with wealth. Or what they don't do.

As for Rafalka, I believe she or he costs about $70K oer annum to maintain.

I believe that because that is what Romney deducted for care, feeding and training of the horse on the one year of tax returns he has shown us so far; and I assume he was prepared for thorough vetting of that one year's worth.
