Why the 2012 Presidential Election Matters (according to Associated Press)
http://bigstory.ap.org/topic/why-it-matters

The above links you to a list of issues allegedly relevant to the 2012 Presidential election. I have not read all the articles, but I noticed that "guns" is on the list of issues. I wonder if we are still pretending that Obama is going to outlaw guns and bullets?

I think AP is very right leaning, though MAYBE a little less than it was a couple of years ago. With that caveat, I think trying to help readers distinguish between the positions of the two candidates on an issue by issue basis is a good thing.

I don't imagine many DUers are undecided voters at this point, but you may be curious about the positions. And, I think that anyone who tried to identify Rommey's actual position on any issue deserves at least an OP.

1. If the part about financial regulation
is any indication, you are right on about the AP being very right leaning. They parrot the Republican meme that regulations will cost the consumer more. They completely ignore the fact that a lack of regulation and enforcement led to a catastrophic meltdown. Assholes.
