What should be the Democrats' strategy in the last two weeks of campaign?
In my opinion, the economy is finally showing signs of obvious improvement. Jobs are finally being created. The unemployment rate is dropping. Home sales are up. Consumer confidence is up. We are finally pulling out of the Republican Recession that almost destroyed our nation's economy.

The Republicans have always thought they could win this election on the economy. Democrats should throw it back into their face. Democrats should run on saving jobs, the auto industry, and saving our economy from the trickle-down politics of the Republicans. They should remind the voters over and over what we were dealing with 4 years ago, when we were losing 800,000 jobs per month, stock market and 401K's sinking like a rock, and the banking system on verge of collapse. It was more than a "mess" - it was a catastrophe. This President has led us out of this terrible situation.

Also, when Romney says the average middle-class family has lost $4300 since Obama has been President, voters should be reminded that they have saved 10 times that much by the rebound of their savings and 401K's. It was far from a guarantee that they would have anything.

I don't think the President has much to be concerned about in the foreign policy arena. I think most voters consider him a very strong Commander in Chief.

But, besides the economy, I think Democrats should continue to attack Romney on his failure to make public even one complete tax return. They should criticize him for having so much of his money in tax shelters overseas, simply to escape paying taxes on his income. They should continue to remind voters how much of a threat he is to Medicare and Social Security and his plan to give even more to the very top. Also, the women of America cannot have Mitt Romney picking the next Supreme Court justices.

I think they should fashion their message around these points and repeat them over and over. They should disregard the criticisms about Libya. (No Democratic leaders criticized the Republicans when 3000 people were killed on 9/11) They could destroy the Republican strategy by defending this economy and warning people to not let the Republicans go back to the same policies that almost destroyed us.

1. I agree with most of that and Obama did a lot of that during the second debate and after,
when he was stumping.

2. Yes. The Obama campaign needs to raise holy hell about
Romney's tax returns.

I suspect Romney's people are getting him ready to attack Obama unmercifully on foreign policy. The facts don't matter much. The loudest mouth wins the prize.

3. hahaha! I was thinking, after the 2nd debate, it really doesn't matter to those on the fence whether
or not what they're hearing is accurate - they just support the loudest person. They went for Romney after the first, even though he lied every time he opened his mouth! So, I think he'll try and shame the president right quickly about his failures costing our military families, and other horseshit BS attacks.
