A test to find out if your irony meter is still in good working condition?
Prosecutors in Russia may be taking steps to declare the Left Front an extremist group.

It's ironic for at least two reasons.

One, the possiblity that Communist Russia thinks the left is extreme.

Two, no one is ever more extreme than the right

4. Yes, it is ironic, but the Soviet Union never really was communism.
It was an authoritarian anti-capitalist state. The Russian people have historically never experienced freedom, liberty or social justice. Apparently that makes them ripe for the exploitation that continues.
