special election.

As you know, even though he was polling neck and neck with Warren for a long time, she suprised every one by beating him by five points. However, that was a Presidential election, which brings out more voters.

Last time, the Republican voters were way more motivated than the Democratic voters, even though Brown was leading Coakley by something like 20 points.

Last time, everyone wondered why Coakley conceded so early. Later, an aide explained that Coakley conceded as she heard the turnout from Boston, the most liberal place in the state. She didn't need to wait for the votes to be counted once she understood that the most liberal voters in the state had stayed home.

3. Who dictated the likes of Rahm, Gates and Geither?
Sorry, but I don't buy that Obama is just a hapless victim who gets bullied and/or outsmarted by Republicans or Blue Dogs at every turn.
