How could I skip Boxing Day, December 26?
The day when wealthier folk gave gifts to their socioeconomic "inferiors," like servants and tradesmen.

It may have originated in the Roman Empire or in the Middle Ages.

It probably came to us from Great Britain, where it is a bank holiday, only we "tip" our building supers and the like before Christmas. (I don't do it until after Christmas, but that's just me.)

December 26 should be a holiday everywhere that Christmas is widely celebrated because, no doubt, we all could use a day off after Christmas.

1. I have to work.
The only one in the office and finished everything within an hour. I should have brought my iPad to watch a few movies on. But with the messy weather biking in (snow, sleet and rain) I left it behind and dry.

Anyway, Happy Boxing Day!
