2. I wish they would bomb Eastasia to smithereeens and be done with it!
Then again, how would Presidents ever insure their own re-election if wars end?

Most reliable predictor of the outcome of a U.S. Presidential election: A President standing re-election while the country is at war, even a peculiar one like Afghanistan.
