Michigan Supreme Court Justice defrauded ING on short sale.
Retiring Justice Diane Hathaway had a mortgage on her home in Grosse Point with ING Direct. She transferred her Florida home to her stepdaughter, then asked ING to allow a short sale on her Grosse Point home. After sale of her Michigan home and settlement of the matter with ING, the stepdaughter transferred the Florida home back to the Justice.

The feds have charged her with bank fraud.

I don't want to pre-judge, but she sounds guilty to me. Let's hope "Justice" is done.

Oh, never mind. Who am I kidding?

If there were justice, the feds would have prosecuted the banks instead of handing the banks and Wall Street 3/4 of a trillion and a settlement.

That said, Hathaway should be prosecuted too.

2. Well,
John Edwards got prosecuted for getting unconditional gifts from a doting Bunnie Mellon, when the evidence showed she wanted to pay for things that his campaign could not pay for.) (She called and made that offer after the famous haircut, paid for by his campaign, hit the media. Sounds like the opposite of a campaign contribution to me, but what do I know?

On the other hand, McCain admitted using his wife's assets to defray his campaign costs while he was supposedly financing it solely with public funds. He got to quietly pay back the money.

:wtf:
