And the head of the band has said that no one in the band was in a position to know whether Beyonce was live or not.

With all the crap going on in the U.S. and the world, who knew this would be the biggest story on all the morning news shows?

well, I prefer live over recorded any day, and it seemed lip sang to me as I was watching, whereas Kelly was clearly live. it's not that important in life, whatsoever, but it's one of those things where you go, 'just sing it live, you practiced it a ton!', clearly nerves got the best of her. I think hearing Kelly blow the lid off the joint may have done it. lol

no one should press her on it, in my opinion, but I wonder if she'll say somethin' about being LIVE when she sings at the super bowl. lol

6. Whitney Houston lip synched at the Super Bowl.

At the time, it was not so common at the time to admit it. So, when someone discovered it, it was a big scandal.

I remember because I used to watch TBN then and they had been appalled by Roseann's rendition of the anthem. (What does anyone expect when someone asks a comedian who can't sing to do the anthem?) Then, when Houston did it, they were bragging on that. Then, not only does it come out that Houston lip synched, but it comes out that she is a substance abuser, too.

I didn't judge her for her addiction. Heck, I used to smoke. But TBN didn't brag too much about her after that.
