What are T shirts that you should not wear on an airplane, even if Princess Bride, is your cult film favorite, Alex?

SYDNEY, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A man who boarded an Australian flight to New Zealand wearing a T-shirt bearing a famous line from "The Princess Bride" said he was asked to change.

Wynand Mullins, a New Zealand native living in Sydney, said he boarded a Qantas flight to Auckland Sunday evening wearing a T-shirt bearing a line from the 1987 film, "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die," Stuff.co.nz reported Thursday.

<snip>

"The flight attendant said to me: 'Are you able to remove it because some of the passengers are quite intimidated by it'. I thought it was all a bit silly. The person next to me was laughing, because they knew the movie," Mullins said.

Cast in December 2012, after 25 years (sadly sans the late André René Roussimoff.)

Don't the hero and heroine (far left) look as though they should have gotten married in real life?

HA!! not only have you raised my BP with a story of yet another idiotic airline encounter for a poor unsuspecting travel victim (although it appears common sense won out, but oy vey), but also, a pic of Cary Elwes!

I have had a crush on him for 25 yrs. when I first saw him wearing the black eye mask in Princess Bride I coulda just stared into those eyes forever. what a handsome man. He was also gorgeous in Crush. yes, the leading couple in the film looked so good together and in that pic!

thanks for sharing - my how time goes by...

2. Only 25? LOL, you are like me. I am totally loyal forever to my
celebrity crushes. I still have one from when I was only 9 years old.

Then again, since I have more than one celebrity crush at a time, I guess "loyal" is not exactly the correct word.

Well, I guess that I just changed my self image 180 degrees. That's where posting gets ya!

I can only hope my newly-acknowledged unloyal ways have not disappointed the celebrities as much as they just did me.

:rofl:

Did you read my post on lowering BP (and inflammation) by doing things that release oxytocin?

9. hey, billy has skills with a bat!

well, that was 4 yrs ago, and he looked overwhelmed then, so yeah, he probably ain't too tough nowadays. ha!

what a joy it must be to be a part of a movie that becomes so well liked that you're asked to get back together 25 yrs later to celebrate? They're blessed! It was a very sweet movie and so many great actors like Mandy and Billy involved.
