No sooner was Susan Rice's name withdrawn from consideration for Secretary of State than Kerry, who rarely endorse anyone in a primary, endorsed Markey and Markey was otherwise treated as the inevitable Democratic nominee, even though about six Democrats ran in the primary for the special election that Brown won.
If Lynch, the only Democrat who ha declared he will be running in the primary were not such a blue dog, I would vote for him simply because the PTB seem to have decided that the primary vote of Democrats is an afterthought.
And now, we are hearing about Hillary running in 2016 and how Biden won't run if she does and he knows he can't beat her, etc. Ed Rendell was on Hardball last night calling her a rock star, etc. Rachel Maddow called her a rock star last night too. (As we all remember, "rock star" was what we kept hearing about Obama in 2008.)
My email has been full of requests for me to tell Hillary how great she is and how grateful I am to her, etc. Instead, I've asked to be unsubscribed, even from Emily's List (which pains me).
Last time I looked, being registered as a Democrat in Massachusetts means I am supposed to have a say in Democratic primaries. Apparently, that has now become only a "right" to stand in line for the privilege of rubber stamping the primary selections of the Party's PTB.
I am changing my registration before November. Maybe Indie which, in Masachusetts, gives me the right to vote in any Party's primary.. Maybe Green. It may depend on how I feel once I get to City Hall.
