POS Vilsack
He claims that he has "no choice' but to lay off food safety inspectors if the sequester goes into effect.

Really? No in the entire Food and Drug Administration can be laid off other food safety inspectors?

And there is no way to cut costs except by lay offs?

Are you fucking kidding me?

Obama and Lew dreamt up the sequester a while back. IMO, that was so that Obama could get on with his campaign without any actual pesky tax increases or slashes to social safety nets that he might have to deal with on the campaign trail. All would still be theoretical and handled easily with general statements and platitudes.

However, that was many months ago. Not having a cost cutting plan from each department review and ready to put into effect in case the supposedly unthinkable happened was inexcusable. And that plan should have to do the least ossible harm to Mr. and Ms. Sixpack, not the most possible. The most possible harm seems to be the game plan.

I guess dying quickly from bad food will make dying slowly from lack of nutritious food, medical care and heat look good in comparison.

Seriously, why do we still pay the salaries, fringes, pensions, etc. of these fucks?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

1. Maybe congress should have to fund their pensions 75 years into the future.
Maybe they could change their name from "congress" to Universal Assholes.

We already have problems with food and drug safety. Duh. Maybe someone could introduce a bill to "streamline" the food and drug regulatory process by eliminating country of origin food labeling requirements, eliminating the requirement for content labeling and trust corporations to make the right decisions because, you know, they have children too.

Smaller government! Smaller government! What don't you understand about that? The people have spoken! Oh, wait.

Fucks is the word.

2. The people have spoken.
Edited on Thu Feb-14-13 08:21 AM by No Elephants
To the extent that votes were not interfered with in various ways, they spoke against Republicans. Boehner claims that, by electing a Republican house, the people spoke and what they said was that "they want us to find a way to work together."

Liar. The Republican House is not the result of the voice of the people. It's the voice of Republicans doing a re-districting in their own favor and doing that very well. So, for at least ten years, the people can speak until the cows come home and still not make their voices heard.

Take off your flag pins, you cynical fucks. Nothing about you is patriotic. Nothing. Hell, you're barely nationalistic. Greedy is about all you are.

Crooks and liars and maroons. That is what cost us a fortune every year.

Crooks and liars and maroons.

P.S. And by voting for Democratics, they did not intend to have a Republican Executive Branch. If this is not a Republican move by Vilsack, I don't know what would be.
