Safety Tip--Always check your exhaust pipe before turning on the ignition.

Boston had another large snowstorm this past weekend.

Several horrific tragedies occured because people were in cars with the ignition on, trying to get warm, before making sure the exhaust pipe was clear and capable of functioning.

Of course, the substance does not have to be snow. It could be a pile of leaves, mud, sand, water, a blockage manmade as a prank--anything. Just please get in the habit of checking the exhaust before you turn on the ignition.

If you post on other boards (including DU3), you might mention this. And you might also spread the word to your email list and loved ones.
