Getting lots of political fundraising calls lately, which alone are enough to
Edited on Tue Jun-25-13 04:54 AM by No Elephants
make me regret my donations to the DNC, Obama and certain others.

Yesterday, I got a call trying to get me to contribute to Al Franken, to whom I had donated while he was battling Coleman over the vote. (Yes, even one donation is enough to get you calls for many years.)

I contributed to Franken because I thought he was a liberal. He votes consistently against food stamps and those are not the only votes that made me regret even my lone contribution.

Lies, and the lying liars who tell them, indeed.

On the bright side, if you feel lonely whenever your phone doesn't ring, just make some political contributions and your phone will always ring.

1. Yeah. I understand your feelings on these candidates.
While I do not want a majority of Tea Baggers I am so fed up with Democrats taking our support for granted.

I was shocked to hear about Franken's vote on food stamps. Does that mean he thinks food stamp recipients are moochers. Has he adopted a Ayn Rand position?

Every time I receive a request I second guess my support. Did they support the President's budget proposals that included chained CPI? I just will not support pretend Democrats.

2. AFAIK, no Truman, LBJ or RFK Democrats hold office in D.C. these days.
Maybe not even Carter.
