Scot t Brown's wife on Boston's local PBS station.

As you may or may not know, Brown's wife is Gail Huff, who, for years, had a job with Boston 5, which, IMO, is Boston's best local news operation.

She was the one you'd see standing near a highway at 6 am, knee deep in snow, apparently so Bostonians would believe the weather report.


As you may imagine, this resulted in very favorable coverage of Brown's campaign. And, when Coakley conceded, we were "treated" to the disgraceful journaiistice spectacle of a Boston 5 reporter literally jumping up and down in Brown's headquarters as she reported this to the Boston viewing audience.

Anyhoo, Huff disappeared from Boston 5 and did not reappear there after Brown lost to Warren. However, the other evening, I tuned into WGBH, Boston's PBS affiliate, and, lo and behold, there sat Gail Huff interviewing someone. I tuned in mid-show, so I don't know if she was sitting in for someone, or if she now has her own show.

1. I did not know that.

I find it very interesting in light of the fact that the opposition owns nearly everything in the way of a media. There simply isn't much journalistic integrity to be found in traditional media.

2. Less and less at PBS as well. Bushco fixed that and no one is "unfixing" it.

3. After the President was sworn into office in 2009

I was shocked that his mission did not include removing the RW influence from NPR and PBS. Among other things. Just another, you know, odd little incident.
