When was our last combat casualty in Germany or Japon?
Congressman King says he might run for President 2016. Joe Scarborough asked if King did not agree that Republican foreign policy under Bush was not "too expansive." (Now, there's a euphemism for ya.)

Joe also wanted to know if King didn't think we should finally leave Afghanistan.

During the Bush administration, as we stayed in Iraq well after elections, Bushco used to say inanely, "We're still in Japan."

I guess King did not want to echo that, so he switched up the monumentally false equivalency this morning with "We've been in Germany for 60 years."

So, when was our last combat casualty in German or Japan?
