The big post I have been meaning to write about the Snowden scandal... it was going to be a series of excerpts from a Post special report on the creeping security state, published back in 2010. Well, little did I know that PBS actually made a movie about it, and the special is still on the Post website... and it turns out they are showing it with a group I'm familiar with:

"Top Secret America" The 2011 FRONTLINE documentary based on reporting by the Washington Post's Dana Priest and William Arkin, and discuss the ongoing whistleblower revelations by Edward Snowden.

I haven't seen the last movie they showed, about whistleblowers, which is a shame because it seems each movie this group airs has something to do with me. (A close family of mine was a whistleblower.)

FYI, for future reference: Kevin Gosztola does some great reporting on whistleblowers.

He was one of very few journalists from anywhere--TV, radio, newspapers, blogs--to attend the Manning trial every day.
