Obamacare offers more goodies for insurers
I could not believe Jon Stewart, mentioning on Monday's Daily Show, as though it were a good thing, that health insurers are set to make $22 billion more over a period of years (I think he said 10 years) as a result of Obamacare. Twenty-two billion more to one of the most heartless and already profitable industries in the country.

Is that what occurred to him while he watched (or so he claims) his dying mother having to fight with insurance companies from her deathbed? That health insurers should get a bailout from taxpayers?

And then, there's this.

I have no idea why Republican politicians will not admit they love Obamacare.

Oh, wait, maybe I do have an idea.

Maybe they just don't want to give Democrats credit for helping job creators because that is supposed to be their thing.

Besides, it's in their interests to keep their base furious at Democrats, because they discovered that anger gets people to the polls.

Not in the nation's interest, or even in the interest of their base, but in their personal and professional interests as politicians, looking for stuff from lobbyists. And, once they leave office, for jobs as lobbyists.

1. I don't understand the insurance industry outrage.
I guess they want "their" money without any responsibility to the consumer whatsoever.

2. Pre-existing condition was one of their favorite ways to deny coverage.
Besides, you know that big business objects to government regulation of any kind on general principles.

And never disregard the possiblity of kabuki.

I've heard about all the alleged outrage from health insurers. However, when Billarycare was proposed, they supposedly killed it with their TV ads. My TV is on ALL day. I don't watch all day, but I do listen with one ear a good portion of the day.

I did not see a blitz of TV ads while Obamacare was hanging around in Congress for a year. I think I saw one and it was mild, not a rabble rouser. Now, that may be because I am in a blue state. Maybe in Kentucky (red) or Colorado (purple), they were geting bombarded? I have no way of knowing.

But, every time I hear about insurer outrage, I have no idea what people are talking about.

Were you ad blitzed?

3. I considered the possibility that it was Kabuki.

Still might......be Kabuki. But I have grown extremely suspicious of everything. I know propaganda when I see it. My TV is full of propaganda on every stinkin' channel.

Chris Hayes had Wolfowitz on last week, and Michele Rhee this week. He allowed Wolfowitz to walk all over him. You were like a little girl Chris, sorry, but you were.

Hillary Clinton is not very good Kabuki. I'm just pointing that out.

The nation is now Fascist. It is just a matter of recognizing it through the Kabuki smoke screen, or not.

5. I have seen a couple of ads.
But I avoid commercials like the plague.
