Please come to Boston in the spring time.
Not winter.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCOn9NiSgfs Video has some nice pics of Boston until you see mountains, when the lyrics and the scenery switch to Denver.

As of 6 am today, we had 14 inches of snow (and counting), temp of 3 degrees, wind chill of minus 20. Snow/nor'easter will continue until about 10 am. All of which would be okay, except that I am about to run out of coffee, to which I am addicted.

I am not happy.

Then again, things could be worse. As of 6 am, a town a bit north of here had 24 inches of snow (and counting).

1. Stay warm and cozy.
My thermometer says -6. We didn't get nearly the snowfall though, maybe four inches.

2. Noreaster brings heavy winds.
BTW, Milton Massachusett is the windiest city in the US, on average, I guess. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_of_the_name_%22Windy_City%22

While Boston lags behind Milton, the wind chill factor usually gets us. Our actual air temps at this time of year benefit from our waterfront status as the ocean is still retaining heat from the summer.

3. They say, as far as cold, the worst is yet to come.
