1. I ask only because I miss him and because I am concerned. When he was last

posting here regularly, he mentioned health issues.

Dain, if you are out there and still checking here from time to time, I am doing my best to send you affection and good wishes.

I believe it was. I no longer recall the nature of the discussion.

3. Oh, good. Whatever the discussion, the fact that he posted is all I need.

I did try googling him at DU 3 before I posted, but did not quickly see anything from the last several months. July was the last I saw. So, I panicked a little.

I am sure that I criticize Obama and other Democrats a hell of a lot more than Dain thinks is good. But, IRL, we are both strongly pro union, pro-helping the vulnerable, and proud to be bleeding heart liberals (which is Republican for people who have a functioning heart). To me, that's what really matters. So, I care about him and I'm proud he's called me a friend.
