They say he posted videos as well as audio and text messages online between October 2009 and January 2011, using various aliases. He is accused of glorifying the group's fight against "enemies of Islam" and the killing of non-believers.
Gee, if he was using only screen names, however did they find out who he was IRL? :sarcasm:
I wonder whose security operation caught him. Ours? Germany's? Scotland Yard? A private contractor?
This is pretty funny, too:
Federal prosecutors said Thursday that the 27-year-old, identified only as Alexander Abit J. in keeping with German privacy rules, is accused of seeking recruits for the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, which is active in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Gee, I wonder how on earth anyone would find that out, given only his first and middle name and last initial, plus the fact that a case against him has just been filed in Munich state court. Impossible to figure out anything more without his full last name, I guess.
I have no sympathy for him
if he was actually recruiting would-be killers. It's a ludicrous statement, though.
