I think it says a lot that, with all the divorces and scandals in the Kennedy clan, every one of Sargent and Eunice's five children is married, and married to his/her original spouse.

2. I think most people have no idea at all of how Eunice and Sargent Shriver's

work improved life for the mentally handicapped all over the world!

3. And they taught their kids to do the same. A member of my family has benefited from their work.

Anthony Shriver founded Best Buddies International, through which students and adults are paired with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities -- to take them to the movies and just hang out.

This member of my family has loved both of his college-student Buddies, and all they've done together, and he has also been involved for years with Special Olympics (which has given him a sense of pride and dignity and purpose).

I have another family member who served in the Peace Corps.

For these and so many other things, I will always love the Shrivers.

Bobby is the only member of the Kennedy clan serving in elected office right now; he's mayor of Santa Monica.

this morning. His children were wonderful and so were Clinton and Biden. Bill Clinton has a gift - he can tell a story - he was excellent. I learned a lot from both Clinton and Biden
