1. I had a feeling.........

I was initially suspicious Friday when I read that he had several restrictions placed on him for his departure, like not discussing the terms and not being allowed to hosty another TV show. He isn't even allowed to guest on "certain networks" to explain his departure. Such conditions are inconsistant with someone who's fired because the company doesn't want him to compete with the network. Usually when one is axed, they can do whatever they want, but it's clear that MSNBC gave him stipulations to leave his contract without a lawsuit instead of the other way around. I believe he left voluntarily to pursue bigger and better projects.

More that leaving voluntarily, I am certain he asked to be released, sometime ago. There are many ways MSNBC could have made this harder for him, which they did not do, same in reverse. Seems to me to be mutual, that the time is just the time.
Happiest I have ever seen KO was on Real Time not long back. I bet Bill makes more too.

When people are axed they can do whatever they want? Nope. Many industries have no competition agreements...typically two years or so. I wasn't at all surprised about KO's restrictions for employment.

There is a real push on to paint Keith as a "diva" who didn't play well w/ others.

This is all about shutting down a powerful voice on the left ..... Keith might have seen it
coming and got the best deal possible for himself but the fact that COMCAST is very
right wing friendly can not be in dispute.

axed by MSNBC for a stupid reason, said in an interview with Anderson Cooper that Keith was never in it for the money. He has enough of his own money. So let's not spread rumors here until there are facts to back them.
