Is there any chance that the Senate will work on HCR repeal?
I would assume that the Senate and the President could find a couple of things to give away to the GOP to make HCR "better".

3. Harry Reid won't even let it come up
However, there will be attempts to carve away at the legislation that start in the House, and I predict at least a few will see it to the floor of the Senate.

That whole 1099 thing that requires every business in America to do paperwork on routine supplies bought from every supplier (including big corporations) is a likely target. Since it was assigned a revenue impact, something equivalent will have to be cut to maintain budget neutrality.
