How long do you have to expose that for to get those results?

7. Probably 20 seconds or more.

You can probably figure it would take a car about 20 seconds to navigate one of the curves in the top pic, as shown by tracing the taillights. The start line is the near-most end of one of the red traces; the finish line is the far-most end.

Digital cameras record all those details forever. Exif allows that data to be copied with the image and easily shared.
Pretty cool. You can use the info from other photographer's shots to setup your own shots. Shutter, aperature, lens, etc.

As for EXIF, I have written that meta data into file headers, so I know a little about that.
