WE are those that are homeless, the poor, without jobs, without health care, without unemployment, those left behind, we might be handicapped, have mental health issues, WE means something inclusive - as in WE the people.
WE are the ones screwed over by corporate greed, had our dreams stripped by the wealthy and then had them bailed out while promises to help us went down the drain.
I see a chamber of mostly white, wealthy people who probably don't know what it is like to go without telling me they are representing me.
Sorry, just that I am 45 and I am tired of hearing basically the same SOTU address and promises from politicians year after year - it changes some, but I did take some time today to read over previous SOTU's.
All fluff, all is ok, have hope, etc - and every year we hear how great things are or how they will get better.
