Translation of the republican response

The wealthy have gorged themselves on the trough of the Federal taxpayers. They are doing fine. They have sold their souls, raped the government and they sleep soundly.
But there's a catch:

We must shrink the government so we can keep our money while the rest of you fight for the scraps.
We must lower taxes so we are able to keep our money.
We must loosen regulations so we can find new ways to exploit the environment, the consumer and the workers.
We must spend more on the defense of our assets and our property. For they matter more than anything.
We must all have a gun. Because the NRA runs the country.

In exchange, if you do these things you will be Patriots.

You will be the America that the Founders envisioned.

Oh, and maybe we will spill something (trickle down) to keep the masses from marching us to the gallows.
