You're going to hear this a lot today if the rally continues, but here it is from the man himself. Jim Cramer tweets: "Early returns--speech is a hit.. for stocks.. Maybe not with core Obama base.. but with the S&P which is where i come in/out"

Currently every major market in Asia and Europe is up, except for the Nikkei.

Cramer's take last night: "Hmmm, lots to buy!"

1. Like ya! Stocks going up = way sucky thing.

I sure as hell hope there's no rally. My 401(k) is just fine where it is. Thank you.

2. A lot of "little people" hope the stock market does well.

At least when I get older ( I'm already considered old around here), I may not have to rely on my children to take me in and burden their lives.
Hopefully I'll be able to make it with my Social Security and small investments.

I'm only a couple of years away from retirement. My 401K is near or at what it was in Oct 2007 (when it peaked). I still haven't got everything I and my employer matched back in the past 2 years+ but hopefully by the time I retire I will. There's a lot of little people (like us) out there whose retirement depends on the stock market. Bring it on!

We all sink or swim on it. There is not a single public employee whose retirement is not tied to the market, for example.

6. Sounds like sour grapes to me

Maybe you don't have any investments, but a lot of "little people" people do. There is a lot of retirement money (401k's and the like) invested in stocks and those investors (read that everyday folks) stand to gain if the market does well.

Are you so consumed with hatred for the well off, that you want the market to tank so they get hurt? Does it matter that the "little people" would get hurt a lot more? You are truly sick if that's the way you see it.
