So was listening to Marketplace...and they're talking Davos... Where the leaders of the Economic arena no longer see this country as a leader...that is over...up to eight years ago this was the way. We were leaders.

Dissolving the Senate seems like a good idea at this point, since the assholes aren't going to do their jobs.

is how to position yourself and those you love to deal with the fall out of an empire in decline.

for most of us, that means doing the same things we would do anyway - telling our children to work hard, find something to do in life that brings them some satisfaction, find a local community, do things to make the place where you live a little better, grow your own and support local farmers as much as possible, help the poor where you live.

try to live a little more humbly in the world and appreciate your neighbor's wishes and needs as well as your own.

...for a few more years. Once the GOP get back in power, and it is guaranteed that they will in a two party system, the economy will completely collapse. All I can say is pay off your house before Obama is out of office.

Watch the debt ceiling ahem discussion. The GOP will prefer to throw the Habd grenade while a dem is in power. They cannot understand that once the empire collapses the future of the US as a continental empire is not assured either.
