‘Make the wealthy pay to save the USA!’ must become our incessant demand

http://onlinejournal.com/artman/publish/article_6852.shtml

Highly profitable General Electric and Exxon-Mobil paid no federal income taxes in 2009.

Moreover, according to the Government Accountability Office, neither did two-thirds of U.S. corporations during recent years.

-snip-

If the mega rich didn’t have tax evasion loopholes larger than a gaudy, whirling Ferris wheel -- and if they possessed sufficient patriotism to hire Americans (at fair wages and with decent benefits) -- there’d be much less national debt for right-wing Republicans to demagogically point to in outrageously scapegoating public service unions, Social Security, and Medicare.

-snip-

Eight words need to be emblazoned on our banners and chanted so loudly in street rallies from coast to coast that the plate glass windows on monopoly capitalism’s skyscraping bastions will visibly vibrate with the resonance of our rising, eminently justified rage.

“Make the wealthy pay to save the USA!”

---------------------------

sounds good to me. and the prime word is "make". cause they will kill you over the taking of even just one dollar.

2. Apparently they're too big to trickle...

You can favor people trying to get ahead, or favor people who already are.

3. I don't think you can "make" anyone (corps now that they are people)
do something they don't want to do.

5. Tax the Rich!
That works, as has been proven time and again. As we're doing now, taxing the poor and giving to the rich just doesn't work.

9. It's so simple
You tax the people who have money to help support the state. There's no point in taxing the poor; you'll get less revenue for starters, and class warfare in the end.

7. Close the loopholes and you'll be able to HEAR the sphincters slam shut
in boardrooms all across the country!

It'll be like "STOMP".

You can dance to it.
